Hidcote Manor Garden – Horticultural Heaven

After the murk and drizzle of this morning, an unexpectedly sunny afternoon at the National Trust’s Hidcote Manor Garden, luxuriant following the recent spring rain

The planting in the Pillar Garden looks very much like that in a number of this year’s show gardens – shades of pink, purple and red within a framework of green, at Hidcote provided by the clipped Yew pillars
